Legal Question in Immigration Law in Venezuela

Good evening, I just got my Immigrant Visa where it says: Upon endorsment serves as temporary evidence of Permanent Residence for 1 year. My question is: Once I arrive to The United States, can I travel back to my country to sell my house? Can I travel just with the Immigrant Visa? I know that I should get the green card between between 1 or 3 months. My problem is that I have to travel to US now because my visa will expire but I also have to come back to my country for 2 weeks to sell my house. Can you give an advice please? Thanks a lot. Gianmarco
