Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India

I and my brother are joint owners in a residential property. 7 years back my brother took a loan of Rs. 3500000 by mortgaing the property keeping me in dark and since 4 years he has stopped giving the loan installments of Rs. 42000 and instead I am giving the installment. Now he has written a relinquishment deed and power of attorney in my favour that he is giving his share in the property to me and I will be liable to pay the rest of the loan which is remaining for rest 8 years. but all this documents are registered in the notary on stamp paper. My question is that can the property be transferred in my name under family arrangement since my father has signed as witness to these documents. If not then what is the best solution for me having a clear title in this property.
