Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
I want to ask about public domain literary work in India.Is ancient books and stories,,say,Panchtantra is in public domain?If yes what are limits to its use?
Is writing a book derived and adapted from it legally valid and can i copyright my work and sell it?

Ancient books and stories are in public domain. There is no limit on their usage.
Yes, writing a book derived and adapted from a public domain is legally valid and you can copyright your work as well as market it.
