Legal Question in Employment Law in Philippines

My employer wants to a 5-year lock up on my employment contract. Is this legal?

Is it also legal that if I should resign before 5 years, my employer would make me pay a certain amount?

How about if the employer chooses to let me go within less than 5 years, but I didn't want to leave? Is he bound to pay me a certain amount as well since he breached the contract too?

Yes, its legal. Your employer can also be held liable for damages if he pre-terminates the contract without just cause.
