Legal Question in Employment Law in Mauritius

Hello..I work as aviation security officer at the airport of Mauritius. My shift includes a night where we have to stay 1630 till 0730 the next day. On the night of new year me n 4colleagues went to buy food during our rest time. Management has been aware through an anonymous letter they have received and enquiry is being made. No incident had occurred during that night and the matter has been referred to hr. Wat are it's implications and how can we defend ourselves in such a case?

Dear Sir / Madam.

Your position as an airport Aviation Security Officer has a direct impact on impending Air Safety Regulations. Any duty violation like going out to buy food when it is readily available within the airport zone is going to be treated as a security lapse and is likely to be seriously viewed by the Management. If any investigation is being conducted into the incident, you will need to justify valid reasons thereof.
