Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Sir, Our agricalture land had been aquired by U.P. Govt for NTPC project in 1989. according to NTPC & Govt. policy, one member of each effecting family is entitle for permanent job in NTPC. Acording to this policy NTPC recruited 179 landoustees till 1994. I have applied for the job in 1993. IN 1995 NTPC egaged at leat 30 landoustees on adhoc basis. But in the year 1997 NTPC transfer us to a contractor. In Jan 2000 a Hon'supreme court order came in the favour of contrac labour, on the basis of that order we have gone to Hon' High court, but at the when our writ going to be finalize a another hon'supreme court opposing the above order had come. And our writ dismished by the hon court. Now as new land bill now came. So I want to know that can new bill be benefited for us.?

Dear Sir / Madam,

Under compulsory acquisition, the Government has to either provide you with alternate land of the equivalent area in a nearby locality, or the Government has to gainfully financially compensate the land owner with the prevailing market value of the land. Providing one member of the ousted land owner's family with a job is absolutely foolish, unworthy and meaningless. All the ousted land owner's should submit a representation on the lines advised to Akhilesh Yadav, to intervene and act on it.

Regards,
