Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pakistan

Aoa. I have a plaza of which i am 50% partner. In that plaza i bought a shop on paggri for 7.5 lacs in 1992. That 7.5 lac was being given to my partner. Now after 24 years my partner says that he does not want paggri system in tha plaza anymore and he wants full rent to be given to the plaza and further to be share amongst both of us. How can i defend this? And the payment that i did for my shop how can i claim it back from my partner even if i agree in not allowing pagrri system.

it is customary right and can be protected or challenged in court of law to put a force of law in it.
