Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

A writ was filed in Allahabad high court in 2007 for compensation of land on which Kanpur Dev authority has constructed road. The writ was filed by one high court advocate. My advocate kept me in dark and not advised me actual progress of the case. Some days back I had gone through internet and found that my writ was dismissed on 5.01.2010 due to non presence of my advocate in court.

My question-

1. Whether the writ may be restored.

2. If yes who can restore either by previous advocate or can be restore by any other advocate.

3. Any other remedy

2. In view of the previous Advocate being negligent, you may appoint a new lawyer to represent your case in the Court.

3. Refer answer (2) above.

The writ can be restored by any advocate but the inordinate delay needs to be condoned.

Thanks & Regards
