Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in United States

I'm in a group for patients who suffer from depression the psychologist who runs the group has been badgering me and picking on me and has been very mean to me in the last several months I had brought it to the attention of another Doctor Who kept on stating that it might be in my mind because I suffer from depression on April 1 I took it upon myself to record a session with the group but their voices were not on the recording it was hers and I told the other another doctor I did that but I was not told that it was illegal even though I never played it for anyone and I deleted it I was never told it was illegal for days later I was brought in under the impression that I was going to speak about my mental health I was accused that I illegally recorded a group I kept explaining I did not record the group even though they were there I was trying to record the doctor who's always insulting I'm being told now I'm not allowed to go in the group I was told that The doctor told the group they were being recorded she did not explain anything else to them and has caused an uproar I never got a chance to explain myself to the group what can I do
