Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

me and my father together purchased a property in year 2001. property is registered in the names of both. payment is made to builder by cheque from the bank account of my father. now my father wish to transfer the property solely on my name. i have one brother, two sisters and mother.

please suggest the correct and authentic way of transfer so that the transaction should never be challenged in the court by any family member.

there is no embargo in your father transferring his share of the property in your name. He can gift you his share or he can will you his share.This will not be challenged as the property I assume was self acquired .
