Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pakistan

hi,sir when a person gives some money as a bayana to the owner of the land to purchase his land,at that time he records this transaction on a stamp paper with the signs of witnesses.i want to ask that this stamp paper has any legal status or not?as if the seller refuses to sell his land after this or exploits the matter , then the buyer can take any action or not on the basis of this stamp paper in order to get back his money?(which was given by him as bayana) .thanks

the document you mentioned is AN AGREEMENT TO SELL which is legal and enforceable document. you can take legal action to enforce the agreement and get this property ( if its in the agreement) through the operation of court of law. you can call to discuss this in detail.
