Can a married daughter claim a share in her parent's (self acquired) property, when her father has died intestate and the mother wants to give the full property to the son?

yes, the daughter has an equal share as in case of son.

In case of self acquired property, all Class I heirs have equal shares.

Widow, son, daughter (married or unmarried), mother etc. are Class I heirs.
