Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I purchased a flat in Vashi Navi Mumbai in 1992.It is CIDCO flat purchaseed from earlier owner The property tax bill is still being issued in the name of the earlier owner. I have written number of letters to corporation,provided copies of relevant documents but the issue is not solved. What is the procedure to be followed in this case. Is there any fees to be paid for such transfer. If yes what will be the fee amount?

You should check and comply with the procedure laid down by CIDCO to get the property tax bill in your name.

Submit prescribed form with document and applicable fees to the Municipal Corporation for change of name of tax assessment.
