Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

i purchased a plot(land) from some person

two months later a person came with documents 24 years old claming same property with that document number i bought cc copies from registration office i can recognise that they are forged signatures clearly because there are signatures in the same document miss match(they are not mached with signature in my document and in the same document there are two different signatures)

now the seller of property expired

how can i proceed and if the person with fake documents does not show the original in court do cc copies will act as evidence of forgery

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should not worry if you have stamped and registered the deal in the Tehsildar / District Registrar's Office and if you are in possession of the land. Even if the seller has passed away, his / her legal heirs will have to testify. All you should do is to get your plot of land cordoned off with a barbed wire fencing on all four sides to prevent unauthorized encroachments. The person falsely claiming to be the Owner has to file a petition in the Court and prove that he / she is the Owner, which is highly unlikely.

Regards,
