Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Philippines

Hello Atty,

My grandmother (father's side) died without a will. She happens to have properties that she managed with other partners in a corporation. My mom, who worked in this corporation as our representative never gave me the share that I am entitled to. I am a single mom with four boys. The question is, if I bring this to court, do I stand a chance of getting the money that I am entitled to?

If your father is still alive then you have no right at all. But if your father predeceased your grandmother then you inherit by right of representation together with your mother.
