Legal Question in Workers Comp in India

Dear sir,

With greetings, I am employee of a mini PSU.I am here as a post of engineer for which desired qualification is B.Tech.It is also a minimum qualification for this post.As i was selected here in 2011 as a engineer. In the same year before joining this post i had completed my M.Tech (Higher degree)also. In interview it was also asked whether i have completed my M.Tech degree or not and the same time i have replied positively and produce my B.Tech and M.Tech degree in front of them, as i have done my Btech in 2008 and Mtech in 2011.

I want to know that is there should be any extra compensation with my salary or not? Is there should be any relaxation in promotion or not? or what any benefit my post graduate degree (M.Tech.)can take positive result/profit where only a graduate degree (B.Tech.) is only required? Is there any law for the same above?

Please do reply.I am eagerly waiting .

Thanking You.

Dear Sir / Madam,

During selection, you ought to have suitably negotiated your designation and salary fitment in the Company. After joining, your on-job performance and results delivered by you far outweigh your qualification. Being overqualified does not automatically imply that the Company will relax promotion norms for you, since it is purely based on merit and the HR policies of the Company.
