Legal Question in Workers Comp in India

I m a student. I have worked in Jade Green Systems and Solution(a small scale firm).
I have joined on 29 June 2013. After some days on 10 August our MD has told us due to company financial problems we have decided to terminate some employees instead of stopping the company. We 5 people have agreed. and they paid us for July month.
But now when I go to take my payment for 10 days of August MD is saying there is deduction in your salary due to mistakes in your work.
But I have not signed any document or they haven't told me that our salary will be deducted.
The ten days salary is not much its only 2000/- but as I m a Student it is lots for me.
Now I wanna ask can I register a complaint against Management of Jade Green?

Yes, you can file a case against the management for the deduction but it should be in good legal drafting and should be appropriate forum.
