Non-Compete agreement
If I sign a non-compete agreement(2 years) at my present job, will I be able to start my own company, in another state, doing the same thing?

non compete agreements are not favored in the law, however they will be upheld if reasonable as to length and geography. whether yours is reasonable can only be determined by reading it and knowing the name and size of your employer and other pertinent matters. please call if you wish to persue this matter further
