Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Alabama

Does it infringe upon rights given to every american to place a curfew on americans 18 and under, and fine the parents if their child is found to violate this curfew? Does it infringe on our bill of rights for anyone 18 and under that is going to work before curfew is lifted to be forced to show I.D. and proof of employment?

It sounds to me repugnant to our basic concept of freedom and decency. Sure, there will be some judges in some instances who can't see straight, but what you have described sounds outrageous. Can you offer more details? Under what purported authority is this happening? What is the local ACLU position on it? What was the stated basis for such action?

We have some strange judicial action in this country. The Constitution has very little to say about age limitations (and none with respect to fundamental rights), yet courts keep supposing that the government knows better than parents. Can you post more details about what is going on? Have you contacted your local ACLU or an attorney who is a member of the National Lawyers Guild? (They are the ones that care more about justice than just the legal profession.)
