Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama

Is there such thing as a lemon law in the state of Alabama?

Would like to know if there is a lemon law? Our car is not running. Needs a new motor. The dealership admitted that the motor in the car is not the original. Need some advice on what to do as far as taking legal action.

There is a lemon law in the state of Alabama (8-20A-1), and it applies to new vehicles. If your car is new, you must send the appropriate notice to the manufacturer (NOT THE DEALER). If your vehicle is used, you may still have some warranty claims which you could enforce. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to give me a call. Sincerely, Jon E.
