Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Alabama

I am being took to Small Claims Court for a judgement against me for a credit card that they say I owe. My court date is tomorrow at 9:00. I do not have a job, car, or a phone and I am not sure that this is my debt. What will happen when I go to court? What does it mean if someone gets a judgement against me and I have no income?

If you do not owe the debt then deny you had the credit card . . . .pretty simple. If you DO NOT GO TO COURT you WILL LOSE! A judgment will last for 10 years and then it can be "revived" for another 10 years. The interest rate is 12% a year. It can grow to be a LOT of money. Go to Court and, if nothing else, work something out.
