Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Alabama

Sued by collection agency

Is there a Case Management Statement necessary in a Lawsuit when a collection agency is sueing me? If so, does both the attorney and defendant have to send one in? Does a summons have to contain my legal name? I was married years ago and my name is different. What is necessary to prove your legal address? The collection agency sueing the accont is SOL, how can I prove it?

You need to find an attorney to help you. An attorney needs to "see" your documents to really give you good advice.

It would be helpful to know what city are you in? And what court are you being sued in?
