attempted murder

this female, had a sexual relationship with a guy who had the HIV virus. he failed to inform he of his condition, and went forth in having unprotected sexual intercourse with her. as a result, she is now HIV positive and so is her unborn child, he is the father of this child. she would like to know if she can chrge him for attempted muder as she will die eventually. will she be able to claim support from him for the child and from who must she claim the support. is there a delictual claim here as well and what is it?

Possibly, but a better way to go might be to sue him in civil court for damages. That way if a jury found in her favor, she might get enough money to take care of her and the child. The only question is, does the father have any assets to win?
