alimony
if you are receiving alimony from your xhusband, and you get remarried ,does it stop?

it will depend entirely on the terms of your divorce decree as it relates to the alimony awarded. periodic alimony, by it definition, is contingent as to amount or duration. alimony in gross is more of a property settlement. you need to consult your attorney and review your decree to determine what kind of alimony you were awarded and whether it has any termination provisions.
