Custody of my son.

I am wanting information about obtaining custody of my son, the guardian wants to give me uncontested custody of my son. What do I have to do to obtain that custody.

Re: Custody of my son.

Your facts are sort of thin. Normally you would go to the Court granting the custody to the Guardian and tender an agreed order of custody for the Court's (Judge) signature. It would be a lot quicker with an attorney.

I concur with Mr. Owens. I would add that questions

as to what if any relationship the guardian is to the son,

the whereabouts of the other parent, and the locations of

all parties would be important to know for purposes of

establishing what court has jurisdiction

(authority to hear the case).
