How can a man stop the process of every time he makes a child support payment he's arrested even though his disability has been proven by physicans along with documentation? The judge has advise him to pay what he can, but since there wasn't a stenographer present this wasn't notated and when he goes in to make a payment he's arrested. How can I stop this from happening? This is a child support case and I have been paying child support until make near fatal car accident.

He needs to file a petition to modify his child support order based on the disability. If he has received Social Security disability, then the disability check the government pays to the child can take the place of his personal child support obligation. If he has not applied for disability yet, he needs to do so immediately.

Also, child support payments can be made by mail with a money order.

If you are drawing disability, you need to contact an attorney to file to modify your child support order. If you are not on disability, contact a social security attorney to file a disability petition for you.

Good luck.
