Don't let him intimidate you with that garbage. There are plenty of lawyers who don't mind filing cases against cops, and the judges are not going to give him special treatment. You need to do what is best for you and your children, and don't let his threats scare you.

Our firm handles divorce cases. If you would like to discuss this matter with us, please feel free to give us a call or send us an email.

Good luck to you.

You need to go to get counseling for abuse first of all so you do not buy into his bluffing. He may know them, but that does not mean they like him or are willing to jeopardize their elected position to do him a favor. You need to see what resources are available for counseling and if it is an abusive situation, get out of it for your kids sake. Don't even think you stay in such a relationship for the kids. That is a copp out.
