Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

My wife and I have a new home and I built the home and hired helpers when I needed help.She is filing for divorce and whats half of the home value.Will she get half?

There is no way to know the answer to that question in Alabama. In this state, property of the marriage is divided based on what is fair -- or "equitable". The person who caused the marriage to fail is the person who will receive less property. It all depends on what is fair under the circumstances. There is no way to answer your question without knowing where the equities lie.
