Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Alabama

My Father was a world war 2 vet. My mother filed claim and was approved for benefits in August 2007 in the amount of 904.00 per month she also recieves a social security check in April 2010 she passed away and my sister will not tell all she said that she cashed the social security check and gave it to mother and the V.A. check that my mother recieved she payed her bills and the only bills mother has was telephone,cable,and eletric bill she my sister opened an account and had the V.A. check direct deposit now she my sister tells me there is nothing there is there anyway I can find out where or what happened to the money she says isn't there the amount that I came up with was 89,720.00 this is from August 2007 to April 2010 she also has several accounts at different banks and credit unions is there anything I could do and am I entitled to anything.

You can sue your sister for converting the funds of the estate to her own use. You need to see a lawyer!
