How do I take my name off a mortgage I co-signed for? Ex-girlfriend of six years and I split up three years ago, and she threatens to make me pay half.

Unfortunately, you cannot simply take your name off a note when you co-sign. The only way to get relief from the financial obligation to the mortgage company is to have your ex-girlfriend refinance, or someone else, finance in their own name with a purchase. It doesn't sound like your ex is willing to make that happen. Therefore, you may have to seek relief from the court.
