Legal Question in Personal Injury in Alabama

i was 17 when this happened in may 09 i was a backseat passenger in a 1 car accident.

the roads were slick for it had rained earlier that morning.

A guy named Alex was drivng, and his girlfriend, Allison was in the front passenger seat. (both my best friends)

we came around a sharp turn and hit three or four trees and totaled a brand new infiniti.

the car . the car belonged to alex's dad (who is a doctor)

Allison (the girl up front was pinned in by the car and had to be cut out and have screw put in her leg. i was knocked unconcious and don't even remember leaving my house...

the backseat airbags in the car did not deploy and the e.r left me laying in a neck brace for over an hour while they did xrays with a good inch long piece of glass stuck in my neck (behind my ear) i fractured my sinus cavity. had a concussion (and they sent me home two or three hours later. [[the last thing i remember is getting in the car, and the next thing i remember is being at my house asking "where's allison?"]] Alex got out of it with just some glass in his head. . and me and allison was giving a lawyer. who sent me a good hour drive twice a week to go to a neurologist/pain managment doctor for physical therapy and claimed there was not any other one i could go to. i went i had some kind of xray done where i was in a tunnel. Then the doctor shows me these print outs (never once seen the actuall xray) of an xray of a spine. it has text at the top things circled and written on it as if he gave them out on a regular basis. but the reason i thought that is because he had a whole two inch stack of them. he gave me six really painful shots 3 along each shoulderblade. and i never went back. we did not have the money to go there twice a week and we told the lawyer that. so my mom decided to stop taking me. and me being 17 i couldnt do anything about. i ask my lawyer earlier this year if could possibley start going back to therapy and he said no that they will try and say my injuries are not from the accident. well the did mri scans on my brain and stuff so i think the can tell what is or isnt from the accident. and he told me to take the money i get and use it....

which is supposedly (as he said) the most ill get is 25000

and after his is taken out and all those fee's he told me it would be around 10000

Something in my gut is telling me that something is not right here....

i feel like my lawyer knows im uninformed in law and is using it against me.
