Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Alabama

Real Estate

Would I have a case if a real estate firm signed a listing contract and failed to enter the property into the MLS, as is required by law and the assocation for a period of 12 weeks? And when called to verify that the property was listed they lied about the entry and sent me a listing which was entered only that day not 12 weeks earlier.

Re: Real Estate

Yes...you would have a breach of contract claim...the real question is determining damages...if any exist.
