401k Beneficiary

My ex-husband committed suicide recently (almost a month ago) we have been divorced for 10 years. I understand from a family friend that i am still listed as beneficiary on his 401k and other policies. He had re-married 2 years ago.

I am entitled to this?

You may very well be entitled to benefits if you are in fact the beneficiary on these policies. You need to contact the companies. If you have trouble getting the information that you need, then you should contact an attorney for assistance.
