Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alabama

deceased executor

My Mother recently deceased without a will in South AL she was an executor for my great uncles estate in Lauderdale Co. and left the property in that estate name.

I do not think that it would be of any value to have my mothers estate go through probate, however I would like to resolve the estate she was an executor for. I was breifly instructed to seek an attorney, but I do not know where to begin and do not want to seek one out of town if not necessary.

Advice of where to begin? Thank you in advanced.

Re: deceased executor

John Harris in Florence is an Elder law attorney and is very good. Carol Wallace and/or Connie Glass in Decatur are also very good. Larry Sneed in Florence is also good. I don't mean to leave anyone off the list here, so you lawyers I neglected to name please don't get too upset. Any of these folks can help you.
