Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alabama

When my Grandmother passed away her will divided everthing she had to me and my Father. Including, assets aquired after the will was made. My Grandmothers sister just died and left a sum of money to my Grandmother. The executor of my aunts will gave it to mu father in lieu of my Grandmother. Should I not be entitled to half of this money?

No. The will only existed to things that were acquired before your Grandmother's death. After her death, and since she no longer was alive to take the assets from her sister, the next person in line to receive the property was entitled to receive it. So it would depend on the other wording in the Aunt's will.
