Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alabama

My stepmother died recently. In her Will, she named 4 beneficiaries. One of the 4 died 4 months before the stepmother. What happens to the inheritance of the one who died? Does that leave only 3 to inherit everything?

If one of the individuals died before your stepmother, it may mean that the other three beneficiaries equally take all. The only way to know for certain would be from the language of the will itself. Have it reviewed by an exerienced Probate Attorney and they should be able to tell you fairly easily.
