Legal Question in Workers Comp in Alabama

worker's comp.

Is it true that an active worker's comp. settlement case must be completed/settled within 2 yrs. My parents have an active case against a former employer and Feb. 2009 will be 2 yrs. since they began the case with a lawyer.

Re: worker's comp.

Many cases in workers compensation last longer than two years. However, there are forms that must be filed on time with the State Board of Workers' Compensation within certain time periods. If you would like to discuss further, please e-mail me at [email protected]. The rules do not allow me to type my phone number in this response. I can provide my phone number in a private e-mail to you. Best regards, Faye LeVine
