A Question on child support.

If a child is not living with a parent for three years , can the ''custodial'' parent still ask for child support for those years in which the child is not living in the residence?

Depends. What does the court order provide? Was it amended when the child was transferred to the other parent? Did the custodial parent have child care expenses?
