Legal Question in Employment Law in Alaska

Resignation

I am the GM of a radio station. I inherited a station with problems. Recently, I have been working with a mediator seeking help for staff. A staff member has refused three times to attend. the mediator thought she should contact the board chair to inform them that I was using tools to help the station, but I am not getting cooperation. A special meeting was called later that night, no posted or published under Alaska law, where I was asked to resign or be terminated with cause. I asked what cause and was told a \''vote of no confidence\''. I asked about severance and was told no severance, but they would pay for unused vacation days. I was later told that I would get money to drive back to the Midwest. I never received any written warning. I was given 8 working days form the notice to the end of my employment date.

I singed a three year contract, with a review after one year. I have been here 6 months.

Do I have a legal case against the board?
