Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Alaska

I live in Juneau AK, I have received service from a local contractor for a garage door repair. I received the services serveral months ago and never received a bill. I have actually called twice wondering where it is, the response was basically they were lazy and never got it out. So another 2 months go by and I just received my bill. They placed a due date before it was even post marked by the bank. My question is, is there allowable amount of time if the company doesn't produce a bill that I may not have to pay?
