Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Alaska

Malpractice suit from one state to another

Can I sue a doctor for malpractice if I have left the state where the sugery took place. I had surgery in Alaska in 2003 and because we are military we came up on orders to leave before I had a chance to find a lawyer to take my case. Is it possible to get a lawyer here in Georgia to sue the doctor in Alaska.

You can pursue your case from GA. However, you need to be careful with the Alaska Statute of Limitations, so I wouldn't waste any time in retaining an attorney. If you would like to discuss, please feel free to call me. 770-987-6151
