Legal Question in Personal Injury in Alaska

We need a little guideance regarding an auto accident settlement. Medical bills and lost wages come to $4,200.00. My daughter continues to have pain in her neck, back & shoulders. We're ready to send a 1st demand letter asking for $12,000.00. Is that a resonable request for 'pain & suffering'?

It depends.

Is this pain continuous, 24 hours per day? How long has it been since the accident? Has the pain decreased in intensity since then? Do her doctors have any idea how long it can be expected to continue? And finally, how excruciating is the pain?
