Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Arizona

Studen loan

My student loan was discharged in my bancruptcy in 1991. i beleive the loan was from 1988, for my son. There was no objection from the creditor at the time of bancruptcy, but a few years later i recieved a notice that my IRS refunds were attached...no problem, I sent all info I had regarding discharge and never heard anything again, until this week. they are threatening collection with about $5,000 extra interest citing new bancruptsy law of 1998. Do i fall under this new law, since my discharge was 1991? How do I proceed? I am unemployed and at the time of bancruptcy was facing long term undue hardship.

Re: Studen loan

Hopefully I understood your question. Your bankruptcy has been discharged means you are not free and your obligations can follow you.
