Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona

Post Judgement Interrogatories

I was sued as an individual and my LLC. in a collections case. I agreed to a settlement in circuit court If I as an individual was dropped. Consequebtly a judgement was entered against my LLC only.

Now the plaintiff's attorney sends me Post Judgement Interrogatories with myself as individual listed as defandant along with my LLC. He served them through a procees server at my home. Am I obligated to answer these questions as an individual? Can I hit back at the attorney?

Re: Post Judgement Interrogatories

If the Judgment also recited that you were dismissed as a party defendant, you have no obligation to respond to the interrogatories with personal information - only that of the business. It may have been a mistake. You are hitting back by refusing to provide personal information.

Well, it sounds like either the attorney or his secretary probably just copied and pasted the Interrogatories onto the case styling (the heading where the court and party names appear) that was used earlier in the case. It's probably just an oversight but you clearly don't need to provide answers for yourself, only your company.
