Let's start off with a standard Attorney answer. "It depends."

There is no state law that prevents you from shooting your airsoft at a park. (Just don't shoot people.) The problem is that most cities have an ordinance that prohibits shooting airsoft, bb guns, paint guns, etc within the city limits. In Yuma where I am from it is a class 2 misdemeanor. Be careful taking risks in any public area. If someone gets pelted with an airsoft gun, all of a sudden they are getting counseling and have other damages that you might not expect. You may get sued or be cited for reckless assault another class 2 misdemeanor.

OK, did I suck all of the fun out of what you wanted to do, or do I just suck for advising against it?

Best wishes.
