Obtain Phone number from someones ISP
In short, im looking to contact someone. I know their email address, and it is with comcast, which is an internet service provider. I know that if i request the name/phone number from comcast of that email address that they cannot give it to me due to certain privacy laws. Also, i know that if proper legal steps are taken i can obtain this persons name/phone number. So my question is, what exactly would i need to do to be able to get that information from the ISP?

You would need a good reason to file a civil suit against them and subpoena the information. Otherwise, their right to privacy will be protected.
