agreement for judgement

Hi,

I was asked to sign an agreement for judgement...can you tell me what that is and how it can effect me? thanks

I would have to see the proposed judgment to give you any advice on it. But, essentially, an agreement for judgment (aka Stipulated Judgment) says that you agree that you owe the money. The judgment gives the creditor the ability to garnish your wages and bank accounts.

I strongly urge you to see an attorney before you sign it.
