Richard Groves Law Office of Richard Groves

If you were not married when the debt was incurred, then your name should not be on the judgment.

However, your "community property" assets may be liable for collection to the extent that your husband contributes.

If you want to discuss further, feel free to call my office and make an appointment for a free consultation.
