Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Confused

In the year 2000, I was arrested for ''possession of Dangerous Drugs'' and ''Drug Paraphanelia.'' I was put on the deversion program, which I completed successfully. I have not been in trouble since. Out of the blue I decided to check my case on the Internet. Much to my surprise, in May of this year (2004) something has been added. It says, ''order of dismissal'' and ''with prejudice.'' I checked in the minute entries, but nothing is added there. What does this mean? And, why is something added after all these years? Because my charge was reduced to a misdameanor, will it ever come off the Internet? This charge has haunted me ever since it happened. Thank You for your time. Karen

Re: Confused

It means your case has been finally dismissed and may never be brought again [with prejudice]. Your case is not dismissed until you succesfully complete PPD, which you apparently did just prior to the dismissal. Do not worry. This is good news. Your case is completely over.
