Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Court Procedures

having to go to court for arraignment, sees public

defender who asks nothing about case throws plea out

on the table- PD is informed that a continuance is

requested in order to raise money for private atty.....

PD states that on return to court for next hearing if

without an atty. must take plea or take to trial. and this

is only the second hearing and without an atty...

a court.. atty has to be appointed (if defendant

qualifies) still & another hearing date is scheduled.

would like a fairly detailed rundown, a breakdown of

court process. including what transpires, changes

due continuances, etc?

Re: Court Procedures

From your posting, it is unclear whether the matter is a misdemeanor or felony, and in what court this is proceedings. All of these make a huge difference as to procedure. Please email me with more detailed information and I will try and answer you.
